Hey, I was on a vacay in Chennai, as my fiancee traveled there for business. Anyways the lines between business and pleasure are very blurred for us always. I am so excited that we have two more new projects we are working on :). Great potential and innovations! But more about them later, as they are still under development.
It was nice to just be in fresh air, or even outside, here in India, without any pollution! I really miss walking outside into the fresh air and being able to walk on my own anywhere I want. Believe me, it is not possible in India… First of all it’s been so polluted in Delhi, I really don’t even want to be outside, and second, if I walk outside (which I don’t feel comfortable enough to do) I am just going to be on a street full of people, cars, autos, motorbikes and noise and honking and crazyness. Or the teeny tiny “park” where people go walk around in the morning. It’s a “nice” park with burnt, brown grass, trash left behind by people, and they just walk around in a circle around the walls of the “park” with breathing masks or cloths tied around their mouth and nose. I have a newly-found appreciation for green nature and the people in Finland who collect trash from parks. I mean, I have adjusted here pretty well, it’s just difficult when the things I have taken for granted and perceived as normal, are not present here or even possible. This “walking freely in fresh air” has become the biggest one.
But for now, enjoy some pics from Chennai, our regular spot, the Hilton hotel. I have to mention, that the service level of the hotel is exceptional! The staff there knows us by name, and they make sure we get anything we want. They even asked what we would prefer for breakfast the next day, and then they prepared it.
