Turquoise Embroidered Kaftan

Hi guys! ❤ Hope you enjoyed your Valentine’s Day with loved-ones and friends. At least I missed my friends, because in Finland Valentine’s Day goes by the name of “Friends’ Day” (direct translation). Me and Rahul didn’t really celebrate Valentine’s as we went to the gym and then grabbed a quick bite at the Asian Hawkers Market at Select City. But on Saturday eve we met some friends for dinner at a Japanese restaurant nearby.

This week I’m mostly posting ethnic or indian related posts, so stay tuned! I have like two completely different styles. I like simple and modern silhouettes and colors, but I also like very bright colors, prints and eye-catching details. I always keep color/print to a minimal though; in an outfit there should only be one ruling element. One is the star and the others complement it without overpowering the look.

I bought this vibrant turquoise kaftan with contrast empbroidery in one of my India trips at Pantaloons. It’s a great (cheap) store for those who want some ethnic wear, but with a western twist. I styled it with basic black leggings and a basic camisole, but this one is perfect to wear for the beach on top of your bikini.
