I was thinking, why not make more sports-related posts, as I am exercising almost daily and it’s a big part of my life. I’m just not fanatic about it. Most days I don’t feel like going to the gym, but whenever I go, afterwards I feel great! And also if I skip a day or two I feel super bad and miss it. So I guess I am addicted now. I left my husband (still weird to say that ha) for two weeks in Delhi when I traveled to Finland, and when I came back, he had gone on some diet and basically had a sixpack already! I thought like wow, normally people gain weight after marriage 😀 and I better step up my game.
Today we crazy people woke up at 6 am to go to gym! We still train with our personal trainer at Fitness First, but only a couple of times a week with high-itensity functional/compound training. Other days I do Bodypump, Bodycombat and Pilates. I’m so happy my gym added pilates classes to their schedule!! Pilates is great for toning and in-between those high-intensity classes, it’s a great “rest-day” :D. We actually weighed ourselves recently, and Rahul had lost 8 kgs since November! I had lost 1 kg hahah, but I’m pretty happy with even that. Maybe I’ve gained muscle instead.
I’m always looking for new gym gear, as I wear them out so fast. Two of my tights got seam slippages on them and my chef/housekeeper sewed them up, but I feel like they’re gonna rip apart any day :D. I’m so choosy when it comes to gym clothes, as they have to be of good quality. I basically wear them until they break. Mostly I buy Adidas, Nike, Reebok & Puma. I found this Nike tank top on sale in Helsinki, and it’s the perfect fit with amazingly soft fabric. These Adidas tights I purchased in Delhi a while back. I also had to buy a new sports bra and I bought a Reebok CrossFit bra, but I have to say it’s not nearly as supportive as my Shock Absorber bra :/. I just hate things flabbing during workout :D.
I have started to search for new gym/running shoes, as now I only have one (a great pair) of Nikes, but I should have another pair to wear only indoors. I just cannot find any sneakers of NEUTRAL colors in India! All they have here for women’s sneaks are millions of bright colors all in one shoe. I normally don’t like colorful footwear, and I will only buy white or nude or beige sneakers next. So if anyone knows where to get some, please let me know.
