Whenever I enter The Body Shop, I just want to buy everything! And smell everything… This time I knew what I wanted to buy and I had done my research already online (because here you can’t trust the sales clerks, those devils will try to sell anything haha). There are product reviews all over the internet and I always read at least one before purchasing anything. Or then I take a recommendation from a friend.
I actually went to buy The Indian Night Jasmine Perfume but it was not to my liking. I got the perfume and the body wash from the same line, White Musk Smoky Rose. Now I regret that I didn’t get the body lotion as well, but it was way too pricy for body lotion, almost 18€! That’s the price of Victoria’s Secret Bombshell body lotion, which is really awesome by the way. I normally use drugstore skincare products on the body to be honest, but sometimes you just want a hint of luxury on you, so these are perfect for those special days :). They have a slightly stronger scent and I fell in love with the rose, of course. Anything with rose on it and I’m sold!
Last time I owned a body scrub was in Finland I guess?! This peachy cream body scrub was smelling so lush I had to get it. And the grains in it are not too harsh and it has a creamy texture so it’s perfect for sensitive skin.
One thing I wanted to get was a saviour to my poor hands. They are again super chapped and dry and I read this Hemp Protector is a good product. We’ll see! At least it feels very thick and creamy on the hands. The smell is not that great though, it smells like typical foot cream…
I absolutely have to have The Body Shop’s Piñita Colada series products and the Drops of Light skincare products next. I’m so bummed they’re not launched in India, will they ever be?? I’ll travel to Singapore next month so I’ll look from there then 😉
