I love the easyness of these new cushion foundations! I actually bought one from Moonshot (at Sephora) Korean brand, which the sales lady recommended and chose the shade for me as well. But when I got home I noticed it said “whitening” on it. I was so bummed plus the shade was too white for me 😦 hate when that happens! I don’t know why they’re fixated on this white skin here. And also at The Body Shop the sales person would have chosen too light shade for me again. Luckily I tried them on my bare face this time and chose the darker shade. Don’t want that ghost face :D:D
The compact is lovely black and white (my favourite colours :D) but it’s quite big in size so not the best one to take along in small purses.
Like all cushions, it’s easy to just dab the puff or sponge onto the cushion and apply on the face. This product has light to medium coverage and slightly dewy finish. It’s very moisturizing and I love that it doesn’t leave that typical heavy foundation layer on the face. This is more like a CC cream finish. For girls who like the natural look :). I have used Lancome’s BB Cream for ages now and this one is so much easier to apply, and doesn’t leave that greasy face. For cold climate BB Cream is perfect, but here in Singapore the face is going to glow no matter what you put on it.
This pic is actually taken after bodypump class and some shopping & lunch! I didn’t have time to take a pic right after I had applied the makeup. But it’s pretty good I think, I did use a little setting powder on top. Some shine is there naturally (more live than in the pic) but not too much and it feels like I have no makeup on really, which I love.
So this is an overall great cushion foundation for everyday use if you want the natural look. Coverage is not full and I do need concealer with this. But I can’t imagine living without concealer anyways :D.
