It’s Clarke Quay! Lively, loud & full of tourists and it comes alive after 10pm. You can eat and drink as much as you want in this European style party hub of Singapore.
I love the place as it remotely reminds me of Barcelona’s street restaurants and pubs, and the surprising night clubs in Nice tightly built next to each other or underground, waiting for you to dance the night away & meet people from all over the world. Although it also looks like some space movie set 😀
In the daytime it can be too hot to stroll there but the restaurants provide cooling seats, amazing food and ambience. My favourite is the Octapas tapas restaurant which provides a view by the Singapore River. And my go to late night pizza joint on the street (the name will never stick to my head for some reason??). Sports bars are also a nice way of spending the evening outside sipping your foamy beer, if you’re into that kind of thing.
But don’t get too crazy and find yourself in the middle of a bar fight as the punishment could be immediate caning on the spot!
