Singapore’s Little (South) India

Getting off at Little India MRT station makes you wonder if you just leaped to the actual India. Outside in the daylight the whole scenery has changed and even the smell reminds you of India. More like South India to be exact. All you see is many tourists and many Indians and many crowds all over the place.

If you want some Indian food, clothes and trinkets, everything is here. But choose your restaurant carefully, as there are differences. From cramped, shady and dirty joints to lovely, authentic vegetarian and north indian cuisine. We love Khansama, the tandoori/north indian place! And amazing chole bhature in a vegetarian restaurant on the main street, I can’t remember the name…
