Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Trooper Waterproof Review & Makeup Look

I haven’t bought an eye liner in years. Just because I found the perfect one from Sensai and it’s refillable. But turns out it doesn’t work in Singapore weather conditions. So I had to find a new one, this time waterproof. Many people recommended Asian brands because they are made for this climate, but the one I wanted was sold out and I needed it right then and there. I had heard great reviews of Kat Von D Tattoo Liner so I bought it at Sephora.

The tip of the liner is lovely firm and thin, suitable for smaller eyes like mine. Just remember to shake this before first use, otherwise nothing comes out. The liner is easy to use, you can create that perfect wing pretty quickly. It dries up fast, so finish the line fast as well. Otherwise if you draw on top of the dried one, it can look a bit cakey.

I haven’t done the winged eyeliner thing for months now, but with this liner I can do them in minutes! Love it. And it really sticks, even on a night out in humid Singapore ;).

PROS:

  • Super black line
  • Waterproof
  • Doesn’t smudge
  • Easy to draw
  • Fast dry
  • Firm and thin tip

CONS:

  • Price?
  • Did smudge when eye was leaking

EDIT: Once I was wearing this eye liner and my eye had some allergy and it was leaking a bit. The leaking also smudged the eyeliner, which surprised me as it was supposed to be waterproof??
