Exploring Singapore

Sofitel Sentosa resort & spa blogger findianlife

On our 1-year wedding anniversary I decided to book a staycation at Sentosa Island, which is very near our house actually. We haven’t had our honeymoon so this was a nice little getaway for 1 night.

I loved the ambience of the resort, like we would have been somewhere further away. I especially like the separate So Spa which is like a small haven! I wrote about it earlier here. I had a head massage and spent some time in their steamroom as well.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, there was even a small indian food selection on the menu.

The pool was huge but was lacking jacuzzi and the beach was a small climb away down from the resort.

I loved the open layout of the resort and the room was spacious with unique interior. Only the appearance of the hotel structure was a bit outdated, I would say. It could have been even more “resort-like” and luxurious. It is a 5-star resort anyways. It looked a bit too industrial on the outside. But the service was excellent throughout and that is the main thing! We were acknowledged with complimentary handmade chocolates and a chocolate cake accompanied by a card full of wishes from the hotel staff 🙂

My gift from my husband was my wedding band; an eternity diamond ring.
