Exploring Singapore

Two Finns in Chinatown Singapore

Isn’t it amazing when you find like-minded people in a foreign country? Even better if they’re Finnish! The best invention of Singapore, the official Ladies’ Night, has introduced me to numerous free drinks and a new Finnish friend :).

Yesterday we met up, toured around Holland Village and ended up having lunch at Baker & Cook. Lovely small cafes and restaurants surround the area, just pick your spot! Then we hunted for the Scandinavian lingerie chain, Change, at Botanic Gardens, but it wasn’t there, boohoo.

My friend mentioned that there’s an Adidas outlet in Chinatown so we ended up there right before the thunder storm. I have to admit, I have never been to Chinatown before this day :O :D. I loved the vibe there with old little buildings and new skyscrapers in the background. There’s a huge market or bazaar selling all kinds of knick-knacks but the best salesman was an indian guy snatching us from the street and chatting away with us. Now I literally have a tailor to get some suits made for my hubby haha.

We were running away from this huge storm
