The cultural heritage of Chinatown in Singapore is worth seeing. Even though it’s a very touristy area these days, you can still admire the beautiful and colorful old architecture. There’s a totally unique vibe in Chinatown.
Delicious food is everywhere and you can sit in the middle of the hustle and bustle still shaded from the hot afternoon sun. We had ice tea in the hot and humid weather with dumplings and fried rice.
The Chinese Mid-Autumn festival is coming up and they decorate the streets of the market with lanterns. It looks to me as they are hand-drawn by children maybe? 🙂 How cute!
Make a wish or prayer at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Do visit inside because it’s quite spectacular!
You can buy the signature Singapore fruit, durian, at the marketplace. You know, the smelly one!
I love these colorful hand-held fans, so bought myself a pink one.
